Drive wheels would not pull mower in self propel mode.
Removed right wheel no problem. Left wheel gear screw rusted and would not come out of drive shaft with torx bits. Drilled out old screw and re-taped drive shaft. Replaced drive gear and installed new torx screw. From there on no problem. Replaced spark plug, drive belt and changed oil.

  • Easy repair just remove wheel and replace gear
My lawnmower pulls like it did new
    Guest - December 31, 2023 Verified Purchase
Just what I needed to keep my 15 year old mower going.
New wheel and spindle were as I expected from the repair manual. My mower is very old, but basic parts like stainless steel deck and Honda motor look like they could last a life time. So small investment in these parts that suffer from wear is worth it. Received them in several days and off again I went with my repaired machine.
