, T-25 Torx bit for everything.
Only ran while modulating choke
I began by removing the plastic cage around the engine in the rear which is held in place by T-25 Torx screws and the air cleaner which is held in place by thumb screws. Once the cover is removed I removed the filter for inspection/replacement and behind it there are (2) phillips screws and (2) T-25 torx screws. I removed the (2) torx as these hold the back of the air box and carb. in place. The screws were around 3+" in length and once removed with air box rear I was able to access the (2) fuel lines for disconnecting very easily. Mine were somewhat brittle and I cut about an 1/8th" off in order to get back to more pliable line with easily enough left for reconnecting. The throttle cable was able to be disconnected with needle nose pliers from the carb. easily enough. I attempted to remove the reed valve behind this assembly however it was stuck in place pretty good and i did not want to break it just to replace a gasket which probably doesn't need replacing anyway so I skipped this. I installed the new carb. and all associated gaskets including rubber bushings and reassembled. I primed the carb. with the bulb a little more than usual until I felt fuel filling it up to ensure fuel had made it's way through the carb. set it to full choke full throttle and it started on the second pull! Runs like a champ again.
