This is a Genuine Manufacturer Sourced replacement part designed for Hamilton Beach Blenders/Food Processors. This Gasket is made out of Rubber Material and it is Sold Individually. This Gasket sits on top of Cutter Assembly and under Container providing an air tight seal to ensure there are no leaks. Over time Gasket can become brittle and it will crack no longer providing a proper seal.
No special tools are require for replacement.
• Simply unscrew the Container Base
• Separate Container and Cutter Assembly
• Remove old Gasket and clean up the Blade Assembly
• Place new Gasket over Blade Assembly
• Secure Blade to the Container with the Collar/Base

I do most of the repairs and servicing on most everything at our home. This blender repair was a quick 1 minute plug and play.
Remove the split jar nut, along with the blades and seal.
Put the new blades in the jar nut, then the seal and screw the assembly on the bottom of the jar
