This genuine replacement fuel tank assembly is soured directly from original equipment manufacturer. It is used on handheld gas string trimmers. It is made out of plastic and it includes the fuel tank, fuel lines and a fuel cap. It is very important to replace the fuel tank if it is cracked or damaged to avoid damage or serious injuries. Make sure to drain the gas tank before starting a repair. Please note the fuel tank tabs used to secure this tank are sold separately.

Gov. ethanol in gasoline (4 stroke unit) had ruined the carburator replaced fuel system. Hard to start.

1.) Removed the 4 - 5 top cover screws
2.) Removed the air breather cover, filter and filter grate, and assembly. See the spacers in the housing for the long bolts put them back, a big help to have.
3.) Removed the carburetor.
4.) Disconnected the throttle connection from the carburetor.
5.) Lift and discounted the throttle cable securement from the body of the motor, use two standard screwdrivers to push in on both sides of the holder, it just lifts off and out of the way.
6.) Remove the carburetor gasket, big cardboard piece. Remember to tuck in under the plastic housing when reinstalling
7.) Remove and reinstall the spark plug if needed, did they come pre-set, the carb too.
8.) Re-install in reverse.
9.) Change the oil while you are there. Do not overfill or it will run out of the air breather assembly.
10.) The power bit starter is great, all small engines should have one of these. A standard square bit, I bet would work too.

2. Remove carb
3. Removed fuel lines from carb
4. Removed screws holding plastic casing in order to let fuel tank loose, observed rotten fuel lines and filter stone
5. Cleaned carb with carb cleaner
6. Installed new fuel tank connecting lines to carb
7. Reinstalled plastic housing, carb, throttle cable, and air filter housing.
8. Fired up like a brand new machine. Use ethanol free fuel and winterize your small engines.

2. Pulled plug wire and removed old spark plug, gapped me one, and installed new one (see owners manual)
3. Removed old fuel tank and rubber mounts. Be sure to note there were two fuels lines, so proper orientation is critical.
4. Install rubber mounts and tank, then cut fuel lines to length and install those.
5. Reinstall top plate with the six screws
6. Fuel filter change out per owners manual was a breeze.
7. All done.

2. Remove old fuel tank.
3. Install old rubber protectors from old tank on new tank.
4. Re-install case and 5 screws.
5. Trim fuel line length and connect.
