This fuel filter assembly is supplied directly from the original equipment manufacturer. Constructed of metal and plastic, this item is made for use with several lawn and garden trimmers. Secured to the fuel tank assembly, the fuel filter ensures the fuel is clear of any dust and debris supplied to the engine. Please refer to the specific manual and diagrams for further repair instructions. To complete this repair, you will need a screwdriver and a pair of pliers. Keep in mind this high-quality fuel filter is sold individually.

Trimmer would start then die.
Remove the fuel tank strap. Disconnect fuel line to tank. Remove fuel line/ filter assembly. Remove fuel cap and shook to remove broken pieces of fuel line. Install new fuel line/filter assembly. Used dielectric grease to get connector into fuel tank. Reinstall fuel line to carb. Install tank strap. Fill with fuel.

Fuel lines old and leaking.
1. Removed Fuel tank, removed old fuel lines, installed new fuel lines and reinstalled fuel tank. Checked for leaks. Started brush cutter.
2. Need pliers to pull/hold rubber band that keeps fuel tank in place.

Bush cutter had weak compression, and, no spark
1. Remove Fuel tank Assembly (remove straps and hose)
2. Remove Carburetor from cylinder (remove screws and gaskets, clean with Carburetor cleaner)
3. Disassemble and Remove the Cylinder from the Crankcase (remove screws and gaskets)
4. Remove Muffler from the Cylinder (remove cover plate and screws)
5. Remove Piston from Crankcase (remove lock pins and bearing)
6. Remove Ignition Coil from Flywheel
Note: With the exception of the Ignition Coil and Muffler, I use carburetor cleaner to clean the cylinder and carburetor (internal/external)
7.Reverse the steps to reassemble- replacing the parts that are unserviceable with the new part(s).
Note: The gap between the ignition coil to the Flywheel is approx. one business card apart.
