Normal upkeep

No special instructions. If you are at all, even a little, handy with tools and have a little mechanical knowledge it is no big deal. Normal maintenance done every year on my lawnmower. Change oil, air filter, spark plug and replace or sharpen blade every 2 years.

Every so many years the old girl needs a filter, spark plug and a sharpening or a new blade. I chose a new blade this tiime She now runs like a bear.

removed starter unit from top of engine
removed old rope
threaded rope into proper position
set spring tension
reinstalled unit onto engine
