An E-ring is a type of retaining ring that is not fully sealed on one side. It is designed to clip into place, usually locking into a groove on the outside of a shaft, in order to secure the placement of other parts. Sold individually.

Snapped the new E-Ring onto cross pin that holds the trigger in place after pinching the E-Ring to make it tighter so it would not pop off as easy as the old one did. A poor design that was corrected in the newer models
