Hello maudi35,

It has to be either an electrical or fuel problem with your blower. We have a couple of article and videos that might help you diagnose the problem with your blower. It is not the same tool as yours, but hopefully they will help with your repair. Here are the links to them.

Question: Blower Repair/replacment

919803

Hello,

While I was away for business my lovely wife decided to use my fairly new Echo PB-500T backback blower to blow off our driveway. What a nice thing to do! But, she need to add fuel to the tank, and guess what, she used the straight gas can instead of the gas/oil blend. Needless to say the blower is shot! The reel is frozen as well as the engine. I took it to a local repair shop and they wanted $350-$400 to repair it, more than the $329 I paid for it.

My question is, is it worth it for me to buy the parts need to make the repairs or just by another one for $329? I am a fairly handy guys, but I really have no experience with small engines or small engine repair. I would hate to shell out the money on parts to then not have it work anyway. How difficult is this type of repair and what would I need?

Any help would be much appreciated!
Thanks,
Ian
