Drive shaft housing broke in half

Screwdriver, Socket set

Remove plastic housing at the bottom of the motor
Remove set screw
Take motor off housing & shaft
Loosen bolts in tiller housing
Remove set screw
Insert new housing
Tighten in reverse order

Clutch drum was stripped where flex shaft goes in, Drive Shaft Housing was bent at engine, Flex shaft was sprung.

Socket set, Wrench Set, Torx set

1. Remove engine from Drive Shaft Housing by loosening bolt in clutch cover and screw into Drive Shaft Housing.
2. Remove Flex Shaft by sliding it out of Drive Shaft Housing.
3. Remove gear box from the frame. (4 bolts)
4. Remove Drive Shaft Housing from gear box by loosening Drive Shaft Housing retaining screw and the TOP 4 Torx screws only.( will not leak oil )
5. Remove clutch cover from the engine. (4 screws)
6. Remove clutch drum. (Torx screw into engine shaft)
7. Install new parts in reverse order.

Starter rope broke and

1. Removed engine from driveshaft.
2. Removed worn transmission housing
3. Removed cloth assembly.
4. Removed pull rope assembly.
5. Wound spring assembly and inserted new rope, ensuring rope would retract completely.
6. Reversed above order to reassemble unit.

1. Removed the upper and the lower units.
2. Put in the new parts.
3. Put back together. Started, works good.
