Is there and "easy" way to replace?

If the drive belt is broken , will the saw blade stop raisins and lowering.

Hello CHUCKKAPPA, The 662329001 drive belts are connected to the motor shaft and blade arbor to turn the blade. If you are having problems with the raising/lowering & tilting of the blade you will need to look at the the diagram starting at the blade adjusting handle and looking at all of the parts behind it ending at part numbers 969122002, 969127001, & 969123001 to see if any are broken or missing. Good luck, -WJA

I am trying to replace the drive belts on my old Ryobi BT3000. I have purchased the replacement parts - 2 belts purchased together. The new parts themselves have the part numbers O20 424010003 and O16 424010003. Are these the correct part numbers? Also, I am having trouble separating the guide holder from the motor bracket. Having removed the 4 screws and 4 setscrews from the guide holder, and the two screws on each side of the bearing, it seems the holder should come free of the bracket. What else do I need to do to disassemble the arbor from the motor bracket so I can fit the belt around the end of the arbor? Dick Nugent
