the brush holder is cracked it nees replaced how do you replace

Hello 266655,

Sometime there are set screws in the housing on the motor which hold the the brush holder in. look for them hopefully they,ll be there.
Maybe there is some one else out there that can help us a bit better.

Anyone know how to replace the bevel gear on the dewalt table saw. One of my gears broke. Before it broke it was very hard to roll up the blade. The handle also broke, so I need one of those also. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks Renee:)

I have ordered the part from ereplacement parts and it is the wrong one. The model number of the saw is correct however the part is not the same as the one on my table saw. I NEED HELP.:confused:

Hi guys. Does anyone know how to pull out the power cables from the switch box? I need to replace the box and having difficulties pulling the wires out. Do those grommets holding the cables in place come somehow apart? Thank you..

Hey xmartinx,
if you still need info about those pesky grommets..
You actually have to squeeze the the head of the grommet[with a pair of needle nose pliers or a special tool made just for those] and pull out the grommet with the cord or switch wires..sometimes you have to get behind the other end and squeeze and push...:)
