| I manage a theatrical production studio, and employ the use of 2 of these units. The first thing to strike me as odd about these presses, is the fact that they are not sold with a top cover. The "lid" is an optional accessory. The trouble doesnt end there. The tables of both units are out of plumb in one direction or another and shims must be employed to create a "flat" work surface. The variable speed controler unit of both drill presses has burned out, twice! In less than 18 months I have had to service each machine twice. If I could go back 18months and chose the Jet machines that I almost purchased, I would. Good luck to anyone who uses one of these things, I hope you have less trouble than I have.
