This top cover is an authentic OEM replacement part supplied by the manufacturer. It is crafted specially for the Black and Decker LP1000 Alligator Lopper. This cover is made out of plastic, and it should be replaced if it is worn. It is embedded in the main plastic housing. As a result, the machine must be almost entirely disassembled to replace this part. A Torx tool is needed to complete this task. This part is sold individually.
