1. removed spark plug
2. removed throttle cable from cover and carburetor
3. removed old cover and ignition wire & grommet, cover screws required impact tool to remove.
4. replaced wire & grommet on new cover
5. installed new cover
6. installed spark plug
7. reinstalled throttle cable to cover and carburetor

Broken plastic orange engine cover

Parts Used
Remove Spark plug. Remove the four retaining screws and remove old cover after carefully removing the spark plug lead. Route spark plug wire through the new cover and slide into place. Install the four mounting screws. Replace spark plug and install the cover guard with the single mounting screw. Done!
