This is a genuine Echo part which is made for use with handheld trimmers. It is a high-quality replacement for a faulty or a missing control cable assembly that was installed on a new unit. The assembly connects to the switch allowing a user to control the equipment. Refer to the appropriate diagrams and the owner's manual for your model to ensure the correct repair procedure. Note, this high-quality control cable assembly is sold as an individual item. Keep in mind a screwdriver will be needed to take apart and reassemble the housing.

1. I disassembled the handle and the plastic housing off the trimmer.
2. I connected the cable to the throttle trigger.
3. Routed the cable and two wires through the handle, into the plastic housing around the
engine.
4. I connected the wires for the on/off switch to the appropriate areas.
5 I connected the other side of the cable to the throttle on top of the carburetor.
6. I started the trimmer, made a few adjustments to the carb and cable.
