Gas throttle is not responding it only rans on high speed

Hello David, thank you for asking. When your trimmer starts and runs on choke, it could be because the check valve in the gas cap is clogged. Start the trimmer and gently unscrew the gas cap halfway off. Turn the choke off and assess. If the engine is still running, that means the gas cap may be the culprit. Edger motor ran but blade did not rotate.

1. Removed fan cover assembly.
2. Removed clutch assembly.
3. Removed flywheel.
4. Purchased new fan cover assembly, and flywheel. Also replaced clutch which may have not been necessary.
5. Reversed process to reassemble.
Very straight forward process. No surprises. Runs perfectly now.
