Product Description ?

This replacement foam air cleaner element is sourced directly from original equipment manufacturer. It is a genuine item commonly used with Tanaka handheld lawn and garden equipment. It is helps to filter out dust and debris from contaminating the engine. This foam filter is sold individually. Please note, the filter cover and the base are both sold separately.

Replacing this element is a simple task that does not require any tools.

    Close carburetor choke.
    Remove filter cover with finger screw.
    Remove old filter.
    Clean out surrounding area from dirt and dust.
    Replace new filter.
    Replace filter cover and tighten finger screw.

    Trimer: would not start Pole Saw: lost cover

    2. pushed on the new filter
    3. removed cover, removed cleaner element
    4. placed new element

    Carburetor problems

    I removed the air filter cover and the air filter, then removed the screws that were holding the carburetor on. Removed the fuel lines from the carburetor, then removed it. I watched your you tube video on rebuilding a carburetor.

    I replaced the primer bulb. I then removed the heat insulator and replace the worn manifold gasket, then reinstalled the heat insulator. I then installed the rebuilt carburetor with the screws, replaced the fuel lines. Then put in the new air filter, than attached the filter cover.
