This is an authentic manufacturer-sourced part which is made for use with Black and Decker and DeWALT angle grinders. The purpose of this clamp is to secure the guard. If the part is damaged or is missing, this will provide an identical replacement for the original component that was installed on a new unit. Refer to the owner's manual for the correct application of this part. Replacing it is a simple task that should only require a screwdriver. One durable metal clamp is included. Note, the screws to secure it are sold separately.

Long lost part
Just what I needed after a couple of years of using my angle grinder without the guard. Glad I found it and it fit perfectly and I’m feeling a lot safer in using the tool.

Removed the rear housing
Removed the cord from its connection and remove the cord relief
I had to go to and electronics store to get the cord terminals for the new cord
Slid the cord relief onto the new cord, connected the terminals
Replace the rear housing
Then just simply screwed the guard together on the grinder
