This is an authentic OEM sourced replacement part designed for use with Husqvarna chainsaws. This kit allows you to tension the chain. If the bar doesn’t adjust when you turn the tension screw usually the tension gear/pin or the adjustment bolt is worn or damaged. Parts in this kit are made out of metal. Bar tensioner tooth broke, not allowing the bar to tighten up
1. Pulled clutch cover off
2. Removed plastic cover over tensioner
3. Removed old tensioner
4. Put tensioner kit together
5. Put new tensioner into slot
6. Replaced plastic cover for tensioner
7. Put clutch cover back on saw, tightened bar back up. went back to work with the saw.

Threads worn badly on old chain adjuster, replaced with new kit
Plastic throttle trigger was broken, new trigger

Take the chain cover off and just replace it, put bar and chain back on and adjust

chainsaw bar tensioner screw broke.
removed cover, removed retainer, one screw, removed broken part replaced with new parts.reinstalled retainer and cover. put bar and chain back on saw,replaced flange nuts with new ones. worked well last long time,maybe.

The bar on my chainsaw would not adjust to tighten the chain.
Removed the broken chain tensioner.
Replaced with new tensioner. Back to cutting firewood.

Chansaw tensioner broke
Took chan saw cover off used screwdriver to take the tensioner off and put new one in very easy.
