This is an authentic manufacturer sourced replacement part that is designed for use with Ryobi string trimmers. The purpose of the carburetor gasket is to provide an air tight seal between the carburetor and the insulator. Over time gaskets tend to get compressed and deteriorate eventually needing to be replaced. Please note one high quality composite material carburetor gasket is included per order.

First took off air cleaner cover removed the two nuts holding carb unhooeked throttle cable and fuel lines slid old carb off put new gasket and carb on attached throttle cave threaded nuts back on put fuel lines back on after cleaning fuel filter filled with gas primed and started like a new trimmer
