Product Description ?

Genuine Bosch replacement part
Set of 2 Carbon Brushes with wire lead attached.

• Worn brushes frequently are the cause behind a motor running poorly.
• Replacing brushes can fix a motor that’s operating intermittently.
• New brushes can restore a motor’s electric braking.

Carbon brushes are one of the most commonly replaced power tool parts. This is because carbon brushes are wear items, meaning that through friction and use they will gradually wear away until they need replacing. Worn brushes are a common causes of intermittent motor function, reduced electric braking and reduced motor power. A worn-out brush will often be worn down near to the wire lead and can be cracked, pitted, or burned. When replacing carbon brushes, be sure to inspect your armature for burns, cracks, or other damage which can indicate larger motor problems.

Removed screws that hold handle / trigger switch, 2 piece unit. remove 2 torx head screws on same side where the handle screws go in. pull apart one side of handle. know you see the switch, at this time you test the switch to see that it's working okay, you will need a multi-tester. plug unit to wall plug and test for power. v a/c. test leads that go to motor, press trigger switch if it reads 124 volts then switch is okay. unplug unit and remove the other 2 torx t 25 screws that hold the other part of the handle and slowly lift handle off from the rest of the body. (note, take pictures) on the center of the motor section you have left and right wires that lead to the brushes from the switch and are being held by screws. take this screws of and use some needle nose pliers to help you lift out the brush holders, one copper wire will lead to each brush, remove and replace with new brush make sure to put brushes so that holder spring has tension on them pass wire on brushes true to other end and connect to holder. hold brushes with finger as you put it back in place. put the 2 screws back on that came of the holder, put the one half of the handle back on the body and check all the wires are in place and then the other handle part and all the screws. good luck.

Remove rear handle and split it with the screws on the sides. Removed brush holders and unplug the wire on each. The small wire on the brush unplugs from the holder. Look at how the brush is in the brush holder, pull the coil spring back and take out the old brush. Put the new brush in like the old one came out and put it all back together
