This is a Genuine Manufacturer Sourced replacement part used on certain Dremel Variable Speed Rotary Tool. This item includes Two (2) Carbon Brushes with Lead Wires Attached.
Carbon brushes are one of the most commonly replaced power tool parts. This is because carbon brushes are wear items, meaning that through friction and use they will gradually wear away until they need replacing. Worn brushes are a common causes of intermittent motor function, reduced electric braking and reduced motor power. A worn-out brush will often be worn down near to the wire lead and can be cracked, pitted, or burned. When replacing carbon brushes, be sure to inspect your armature for burns, cracks, or other damage which can indicate larger motor problems.

I then removed the brush covers and pulled the brushes.
I then removed the screws from the right side and lifted off the side.
Next I lifted out the armature and brush holder and removed the 2 wires from the holder.
The holder just pulled off easily and the new one slipped on and locked in place.
I then reconnected the wires to the new holder and dropped it back into the left half.
Carefully the collet lock has to be reinserted and the right half pressed closed and screwed together.
Reinserted the brushes and covers then installed the collet cap and hanging wire.
Then I plugged the tool in and tested it. Done

Repair was easy enough thanks to ereplacement parts having the exact matching parts. Couldn't find procedure to release power cord wires, so cut and soldered new cord with shrink on the wires. Didn't take long and runs like new.
