Need help finding your model number?This is a genuine Hitachi replacement part that has been sourced from the original manufacturer to be used with abrasive cut-off saws. Carbon brushes are considered wear items because they relay electricity to the armature by pressing against the commutator bars as they are rotating. Worn out brushes can cause intermittent tool usage, and replacing old brushes is part of normal maintenance. These brushed are sold in pairs.
