This is a genuine OEM part from the Murray manufacturer. The metal cam lock is compatible with many snowthrower machines. The cam lock is fastened to the cam bracket, and is designed to secure the drive lever when it is activated. This component is sold individually. A wrench and a screwdriver are necessary for making the replacement.

Parts Used
Removed the locking cap on shaft. Slid the shaft out and removed broken cam lock. Installed/Replaced new cam lock, slid the shaft through and installed the locking cap on to the shaft. All went very smoothly, traction control stays in place for snow blowing.
