No problem replacing the cable, exact fit, took maybe all of five minutes only bc I had to tilt the mower. Clipped right in. Have two mowers so now I know where I can get OEM parts for them. Thanks.

have not installed yet, due that I have gotten a new one from lawn mower shop, I needed my machine in working order soon.
yes, it was in good wrapped condition, and also believe is the right part, the reason I have the need to buy another one, is because the USPS is extremely late with delivery, it took like 10 -12 days to arrive, and I needed my lawnmower running as soon as possible, due to over grown grass and weeds, no one to blame here, Now I have a ready part when is needed.

It was pretty easy to replace the cables. I would take one end of the old cable off, then install the new end of the cable on, until I was done.

A pliers was used to compress the tabs on the lower part of the cable assy to remove it from the brake lever and an adjustable end wrench (metric...Just joking) was used to remove the nut holding the mount on the top end of the cable.
Pretty easy to do and is pretty much self explanatory.

Lawn mower brake cable broke and decided to replace the traction cable and belt since they were looking worn.

Watched video on u-tube to see the basic idea of how to do it and then basically followed the cables down and removed them, replacing with new ones as I went along. They were easy, since I had to remove the case where the belt was, I figured I'd change that too. I removed one bolt from the cover under the blade and loosened the other so I just had to slide it over and pull out the belt. Then replaced the belt and both covers...done. I think the most difficult thing was adjusting the one cable so that the length was correct. There is a piece on the handle that it screws into and after tightening it should be snug enough that when you pull the handle it becomes tight enough to move the switch on the motor so it starts. Sorry don't know the terms for these parts, but anyway I figured it out after making a couple adjustments.
