Product Description ?

This is an authentic OEM part for use with Husqvarna Lawn Mowers. The engine zone control cable stops the engine when you let go of the handle. The most common reason for replacing the cable is when the blades do not stop when the handlebar is released. This part is sold individually. The tool that you will need to replace the engine zone control cable is a socket wrench, screwdriver, scissors, snap ring and pliers.

  • Worked as expected.
Part is as expected. Price by the time it was delivered, $50.53, is stupid ridiculous! Next time I will shop for a used lawnmower, rather than pay such a "ripoff" price! One unhappy consumer!

    Exact match!
The cable was a perfect match, only took about 5 minutes to change once the blade and dust guard were off. It wasn't my first purchase from eReplacement and it won't be my last ,my go to place for parts with great prices and near perfect parts.

    Wrong part
The part arrived 8 days late. That was a problem since I paid for two day shipping, and the part was the wrong part, but that was my problem, I ordered the wrong part. I had to take my mower to a local repair shop.

Cable to blade drive broke under neath the mower deck, blade was worn out and I went ahead and replaced the belt to the wheel drive while I was at it.

Removed blade, remove plastic cover by removing 1 screw underneath the mower and 2 small screws on top of the deck. Remove another plastic cowling under the deck by removing 4 small screws, 2 under the bagging chute cover and one on each side of the mower located between mower deck and rear wheels. Remove blade hub or blade holder, pull the blade drive pulley (slid right off). Unscrewed the pulley on the transmission (that is mounted on the rear axle). This will give you slack in the drive belt and make it easier to pull the other half of the blade drive pulley, also I replaced this belt so it needed to come off anyway. Pulled the cable that engages the blade drive and installed the new one just like the old one comes off. Reinstall drive belt on pulley that is mounted to blade drive first and drive belt pulley on transmission second. Reinstall blade drive pulley, blade hub and blade. Replace covers and get after it.
