This is a genuine manufacturer approved replacement part designed for use with Milwaukee band saws. This is the bumper that the rear blade guide is attached to. It is made out of metal and it is sold individually. Please note the hardware/screws used to attach it are sold separately.

Screwdriver, Snap-ring pliers

Removed the three screws from the rear pulley
Remove the snap ring and the washer
Remove the rear pulley
Remove the old sprocket and the chain
Install the new sprocket an the chain
Replace the rear pulley, washer, snap ring and the three screws
Screw the new bumper on the saw

I removed the blade pulley cover, then installed the hub washer and the snap ring. Then screwed the cover back on. I then simply stretched the new tire around the blade pulley. Then used the screws to mount the bumper to the saw.
