This replacement brush is an authentic high quality item that is specially manufactured for use with Dewalt and Black and Decker routers. Carbon brushes play an important role by conducting electric current by having direct contact with an armature. Over time brushes will wear away eventually requiring replacement. One carbon brush with a lead wire and a spring attached is included per order, please note the brush holder is sold separately. It is recommended to replace both brushes at the same time.
