Product Description ?

This is an authentic replacement part manufactured for use with Craftsman table saws. Brushes are considered wear items because they are in contact with the rotating armature of the electric motor, and the brush will eventually wear out because of that contact. Worn brushes can cause the motor to smoke or spark and should be replaced if it occurs. This brush is sold individually, please note two may be required.

    Not used
With other problems with the motor/drive, the brushes were not used. Decided to keep the brushes for later use.

    Wrong part!
Even though I hoped the part would fit, I wasn't surprised when it didn't. The sander I was attempting to repair was 50 years old and I figured the exact part would be hard to find. I resized the brushes to fit, but they didn't work properly. So, rather than spend a lot of money on repair I purchased a new disc sander.

Before I ordered the the brushes from eReplacement, I removed the old brushes from the table saw. They were completely worn to a "frazzel". I actually took a chance on the new brushes that they would be correct. They looked so close in the picture I said, "Why not"..... My first order was for 2 brushes and they worked fine. Then another similar saw came along so I had to order more. This time ordered 6...... What the heck.... They work fine plus I have some extras....... yeah..... I do need a brush cap though...... Can't seem to find one... I may have to make one.... glug....
