This is an authentic Makita replacement part, sourced from the original manufacturer for use with rotary hammers. The special brush holder is used to mount the carbon brushes and the holder includes the spring that is used to press the brush against the armature's commutator bars. This brush holder is sold individually, please note two holders are required.
