Question: Dewalt Motor Brush Replacement

I replaced the brushes in a cordless dewalt drill. it wont work unless you smack it on the back of the drill and then it runs slowly what did I do wrong

Hi Brent,
Check both leads from the switch to the brush cartridges and see if you don't have a poor or loose connection.If so replace both leads.Hope this helps.Good luck.
