We seem to be missing a covering for under the hood? Grease drip down our wall because there doesn't seem to be a covering. There is the aluminum filter but there seems to be missing a covering that covers the filter under the hood

Hi Joe, Thank you for writing. There would be no covering for the filters. We suggest cleaning or replacing the filter. Over time the filters can get a grease and debris build up and can no longer clean. We hope this helps!

There is cold air coming in through my stove hood assembly. is there and air damper plate (plastic) between the filter and the fan? is there a damper in the transition duct piece? I cannot find an air damper plate in the diagrams online. please help!!thank you
