I want to rebuild my card completely but am twisted on the numbers. Would I be better off to order complete unit or by the part. needle valve ,float, bowl gasket, carb gasket,etc.

Hello Davida756,

There is a overhaul kit for this carburetor it is part number 792383. But if you want more than is in this kit, you are probably better off ordering the complete carburetor. When you purchase the carburetor piece by piece it will usually cost more doing it that way.

Are the timing marks on the Crank Shaft gear and the Cam Shaft gear supposed to be aligned? And on what side of the governor rod is the Slinger/Governor Oil assembly supposed to sit? Closer to the Case or the Crank shaft?
I am trying to put this engine back into service, have gas and spark but need to verify timing cause it will not start.
Did rebuild the carb knowing that unit has sat idle for a long time. any help appreciated. Thank you
