bosch mx25e repair: after about two years of intermittent but heavy use of this
tool it began to get very noisey, then the blade would seem to \'disengage\' and
when this occurred the tool (still running) became quiet, but turning off the
tool or sometimes changing its orientation would return it to functioning

that the gearbox was listed a a complete assembly. However, I have been unable
to separate the motor shaft assembly from the gearbox. The small circular object
at the forward end of the motor shaft I assume is a snap ring, but it seems to
be in accessible. How can I separate these two assemblies to determine what the

By looking at the parts diagram and part number 2609199186 Gear Unit. I assume that the 2609110769 tool holder is pressed on the shaft. You will need to get a puller or use a press to remove this part.
