Question: Auto Repair

Generally this is the sign of a frozen second hammer and requires a service kit.But try this first: Prop the tool in a nose up position and take a tablespoon of 10W non detergent oil 3in1 oil works good.Don't use wd40 or other penetrating oil as this can effect the o-rings.Pour the tablespoon of oil down the nose of the tool and let it sit over night. Then place a bit in the tool and while putting pressure on the bit against something hard turn the hammer drill on in short burst.Try this a couple of time and see if that doesn't free it up and lets it work again.Hope that helps.Good luck.
Question: 11247 Doesn
The hammer drill doesn't turn under load with a core bit. It seems to do fine with a 1" masonry bit but when I tried a 4" core bit, to cut through soft brick, it kept stopping. The motor still runs, hammering noise is still evident but the rotation stops. Could this be a clutch problem? If so, how much of the clutch assembly should I plan on buying / replacing? Thanks for any insights.
Question: Does Not Hammer.
I have an 0611247039 hammer drill that quit hammering. I disassembled the hammering parts, nothing looked broken. I assumed the hammering mechanism is partially hydraulic and that the oil was low added some gear oil and it still didn't work. Could the "O" rings be bad?
Question: Bosch 11247 Rotary Hammer Doesn'...
I've got a rotary hammer that won't rotate anymore. Actually it was a used tool and this is the first time I've tried it under load with a core drill. It worked fine with a 1" masonry bit through concrete block. But it stops turning with a 4" core bit through soft brick. Any idea on what the problem is. My first guess is that the clutch has a problem, but how much of the clutch mechanisim is likely to need repair ?
Thanks for any insight.
