Hello Dennis, thank you for writing. The length of the Right and Left hand tines is 8". On our site, there is a grid behind the part that is mapped out in 1" squares for ease of measurement. Removed two 9/16" bolts. Removed broken tine shank. installed new tine and tightened bolts. Took less than 10 minutes. New tine fit perfectly on a 1980's Troy-Bilt tiller.

Held up the replacement tines to compare which ones broke (I previously found that I needed one RH and one LH, so I bought 2 of each), unbolted 4 bolt/nut assemblies for each tine, removed broken tine, replaced with new tine.
