  • Great part
Part was as described and cheaper than buying a new blower/vac. Since it was at least 18 years old, not an easy repair as I had to grind a screwdriver notch in other end of shaft to hold shaft still to put but back in bolt. But all fixed now and hope to get many more years out of it.

Great product and awesome customer service
The blower wheel didn’t fit because I have the detachable blower. I will use ereplacementpart in the future for anything else that I need/want to replace. The customer service is impeccable!! Great job folks. So glad I found you guys and look forward to doing business in the future!

Updated construction looks like it will last longer.
This part did the trick. A friend posted a shop vac for sale so I asked him if he just wanted me to repair it for him. He thought it was the motor that was shot but once I took the unit apart, I discovered that it was just the blower wheel. I purchased it and a new gasket to do the repair right. It works great, it truly sucks!

I opened the motor housing (removed screws), removed old impeller (blower wheel) with a wrench, replaced the new impeller. Since the foam seal between the motor housing and the impeller housing had deteriorated/destroyed when opening, I placed a bead of old caulk I had on hand around the edge of the impeller housing. Reassembled. Done.

Removed all parts assembly's from 2 pc. housings. Did not need spacer I ordered, but will keep it for the other 4 vacs I have. Removed alum. wheel with wood stick in motor fins (to prevent turning) and 1/2" wrench on motor shaft nut. Removed washer, below nut. New wheel in place, washer, Nut tightened with gloves holding alum. wheel. Reassembled every screw, everywhere.

Photocopied instructions were so faded I could not read.
    It was an easy fix.

My best suggestion is to maintain all internal filters way before you think they need to be cleaned.
