Good info on the batteries.
Does anyone know if the 14.4v Black and Decker battery # PS140 [post style] fits any other brand of cordless tools? My HP532 drill is dead and I'm stuck with 4 good batteries.

I think you hit the nail right on the head. There is a lot of hype out their on batteries, but the bottom line is you get what you pay for and you may be paying for more battery than you need!

I had the battery ratings explained to me this way: mah is the gas tank of the battery. More ah =more run time. The voltage is the horsepower. More volts, more power (usually). Anyway my 18 volt Makita nicad serves me just fine around the house.
