Parts Used
2 Removed all case screws, opened case. Care was taken to fully remove the air valve for the dust blow off.
3 Removed screws, and the blade oscillation assembly from the motor.
4. Removed the plastic blade release slide.
5. Carefully knocked the pin from the upper side of shaft assembly.
6. Carefully knocked out the pin holding the lower blade guide.
7. Removed the blade shaft assembly.
8. Removed the two springs behind the shaft assembly.
9. Liberally applied grease to shaft assembly parts to new assembly.
10. Replace the springs.
11. Place blade shaft assembly in housing.
12. Replace both pins.
13. Align the blade shaft so that the motor driven oscillation bushing will fit inside the blade shaft cup when assembled.
14. Assemble the two halves of the blade oscillator assembly.
15. Replace the screws holding the two halves together.
16. Align the blade guide to fit into its proper place.
17. Assemble the case, and replace all screws.
