The part I received was perfect. The repair was not as simple as described. The instructions I found were not very help

This was a fairly complex repair.
My saw works just fine now. However, the installation of the part was complex and time-consuming. This is not to say that it was not worth it as this is a great saw and the repair was cost-effective.
