Description:

This is a genuine OEM courced part which is specially made for use with Craftsman lawn mowers. It provides a high-quality replacement for a missing or a faulty mower blade that cuts the grass. Mulching blades have a more curved style surface and if used correctly with a mulching plug, the clippings will stay under the deck longer and get re-cut providing for better mulch. Keep in mind this component is made of durable metal and is sold individually. Please make sure to refer to the owners manual for the correct application of this part.

Chip out mower blade.

1: Remove spark plug.
2: Remove blade.
3: Check balance of new blade.
4: Install new blade.
5: Install spark plug.

Lawn Mower blade dull and cuts poorly

1. Unplugged the wire connection to the engine spack plug.
2. Turned the mower on its side
3. Put in a scrap piece of wood to keep the blade from turning
4. Used a socket to loosen the bolt holding the blade on, then removed the blade.
5. Installed the new blade and used the socket to tighten
6. Turned the mower right side up
7. Plugged the spark plug wire back in.

Blade was damaged

Position lawn mower on side, use socket to remove bolt. Removed damaged blade cleaned surface installed new blade and bolt and tighten. Checked to see no movement in blade. Set lawnmover back down and started lawn mower tan for five minutes, shut off and checked blade and checked the bolt for tightness.

Engine went , had to replace engine with all sub parts.

1. Removed old blade and engine.
2. Cleaned up everything.
3. Installed sub parts on new motor.
4. Installed new motor on deck.
5.Installed new blade hub on motor shaft.
6. Installed new blade.
7. Installed new throttle cable.
8.Completed all sub components on motor and deck.
9. Added oil and gas.
10. Start engine for breakin and test cut.

The blade got broken.

I took the broken blade off by removing a bolt. Put the new one on. Very simple.

Exact fit

The Craftsman blade was delivered fast. A new blade is much better than an old re sharpened one. A fine tuning is needed to get a cutting edge with the new one. But it would work well as it comes though.
