Question: Bump Cap Gone Bad

Bought a new ST4500 electric trimmer and as usual the bump cap lasted me one month. This is the shortest a cap has lasted. I got a years use out of my previous trimmer. Thinking an updated trimmer would last longer.... I was wrong. I would pay more for a new trimmer if it came with extra bump caps, but nobody listens.

Hi brian, The correct line diameter for your trimmer is .065". Part #21-265 is available from http://www.ereplacementparts.com and would give you enough line to most likely last several years. Thanks! -Mark

It has been really great but don't let your line touch anything
solid or the line will break.
