Question: Brushes For B&D Planner
where can I find brushes for my planner if they are discountinued?
Reply: Brushes For B&D Planner
When the tool companies discontinue brushes there is generally a large after market that supplies them .Try doing a search of the part number and see if you can find a set. Also call your Dewalt Factory service center and ask them to search the service net and see if anyone might still have a set in stock anywhere in the USA.We find a lot of parts this way.Hope that helps.good luck.

Question: Planer Blades
I have a planer with dull blades and i am debating whether to replace the blades or buy another unit. I cannot tell from looking at the schematic drawings which are the blades and how much they [a set] cost. Can you help me?
Reply: Planer Blades
The planer could have come with either carbide or steel blades. The carbide blades are double sided, they can be flipped around and the opposite edge used. The carbide blades are part #372105-01 and are sold individually, two are required. The steel blades are sharpenable. The steel blades are part #878434-90 and are also sold individually. Two are required.
