I removed the main foot to free up some room for the extraction. After removing the E-clip and slipping the post out, the bell crank was free. All I did was pull it out of the soft housing that it was secured in, and pushed the new one into place. Once the tongue was secured in the main housing again, the body of the bell crank slid right into place. I put the retaining post back in and the E-clip back on.

The Black & Decker #3153/100 bought 1983. The parts for this model were on longer available. I speculated on a Stanley Saber Saw part #623190-00. It turned out to be almost a perfect fit. A little filing on the insert made an exact fit.
