Product Description ?

This Ball Bearing is sealed on both sides. This genuine Delta replacement part is sold individually.

rnrn

  • Ball bearings minimize friction between rotating parts in your tool. The balls or rollers bear the load and spin, distributing the weight evenly, while the minimal contact area of the balls reduces friction. This reduces wear on the tool, allowing it to run smoothly.
    rn
  • Bearings experience constant wear when the tool is in operation from pressure, heat, vibration and friction. Because of this, many Bearings need periodic maintenance or replacement.

    Excellent service, prompt shipping.
Excellent service and response. Parts fit exactly as they should have, with no exceptions. I should have waited until well after the holidays to order to avoid the postal jam up. Parts did arrive and I am very satisfied!

    5. Removed table, turned it upside down, removed bearing mount.
    6. Removed two bearings from bearing mount using bearing removal tool.

    9. Only problem encountered was realigning saw blade with splitter guide. I finally
mastered it! Take your time being mindful of the sequence of nuts, washers, bearing

See one of the many You Tube videos on replacing bearings on a Delta Unisaw.
It is necessary to remove the cast iron top to get to the bearings and thus takes considerable time to realign the table top afterwards. See You Tube video.
Pay particular attention to remove the threaded inside "nut" holding the outboard bearing in place (on some Unisaws) (My model is 34-801) and be sure to install the locking washer (with little tab on it) the correct way (flared side out not in). It locks the outboard arbor nut in place.

I found the correct bearings on this site, ordered them and when they arrived I replaced them. This is a Delta Unisaw and it was much easier to remove the top to gain access to the arbor and remove it to reach the bearings. The saw hums like it should. Thank you.

Learned to strip down and dismantle my table saw without doing it before. Pull out the tools, start taking things apart and off until you get to the parts you're replacing. Order parts from model # parts list, and then try to remember how it all went back together.. and order all new threaded parts if any involved in your repairs.. new parts dont match the old threads so getting 90% done and not being able to finish the project is a bummer..
