This is an authentic part which is designed for use with Husqvarna, Jonsered and Poulan riding lawn mowers and garden tractors. It is supplied directly from the original equipment manufacturer. The vortex baffle is secured to the mower deck and is used to aid the grass clippings to be sent out of the chute. The vortex baffle is made of durable material and is available as an individual replacement part. Please make sure to refer to the owners manual and the appropriate diagrams of your model for the correct installation. Note, the hardware to secure it is sold separately. You will need a wrench set to secure or remove the bolts that hold the baffle.

The screws that held on the existing baffle wore down and caused the baffle to become loose and get caught in the blades

I had to grind out the old screws, and that was the hardest part. After that, the new part went right on and there were no other issues.
