2. Remove cover assemblies to allow access to carburetor and fuel tank. Retain screws to reassemble replacement parts are installed.
3. Using needle-nose pliers to remove the retaining spring from the latch for the underside vacuum cover of the blower.
4. Make note of the air and fuel hoses coming from the fuel tank to the carburetor. Remove bolts (long black) from carburetor housing that connects the carburetor to the intake manifold. Remove cover and remove old carburetor.
5. Remove screws holding the exhaust muffler and heat guard on the opposite/output side of engine assembly.
6. Remove remaining blower housing cover retaining screws to access the engine and fuel tank compartments.
7. Make note of the two hoses leading from the carburetor fuel and air ports to the carburetor.
8. Remove old fuel tank and the housing cover insulation protecting the hoses coming from the fuel tank to the carburetor.
9. Install the new fuel tank ensuring the tank is placed into the proper housing retainers.
10. Connect the new fuel tank hoses to the fuel and air intake ports on the new carburetor.
11. Reinstall carburetor intake manifold housing and insulation; install new carburetor and air and hose lines. Reinstall carburetor screws (long black).
12. Reinstall carburetor and carburetor cover with screws.
13. Reinstall blower housing cover and screws. Ensure vacuum cover on bottom of blower is installed in slots at the base of the blower housing assembly.
14. Reinstall vacuum cover retaining spring.
15. Reinstall muffler and hear guard with screws.
16. Reinstall outer carburetor and muffler assembly covers with screws.
17. Fill new fuel tank with fresh gas per manufacturer specifications.
16. Prime engine by pumping fuel pump on top of carburetor six times. Start blower.
