2-looked on the website for replacement parts
3-Had to talk to a person to get the current model and part number
4-Decided to get 2 packages of the metal clips
5-I figured out how the clips worked and placed just one package of 3 clips in place
6-Replaced the filters
7-If I keep the extra bag of 3 clips, I will have to wait at least 10 to 15 years for these to wear out if ever.
8-Place the extra clips on Ebay.

2. Cleaned areas using cleaning pads provided with new retainers.
3. Attached new retainers as per instructions provided with new retainers; press-fit adhesion.
I was cooking a while back and the flat filters in the hood fell into my food. The original clips were plastic and had broken and would no longer hold the grids up in the exhaust hood.

Cleaned around the rivets with alcohol.
Removed the paper from the back of the adhesive strips on the new metal clips and forced
the hole over the rivets.
Reinserted the flat metal filters.

2. Put double sided tape from kit on new aluminum brackets. New bracket has hole in center to go over existing rivet. Pushed in place and reinstalled filters. Aluminum brackets so much better than original plastic. Holds great.
