This is an authentic OEM approved replacement part designed for Husqvarna chainsaws. An air filter must be regularly cleaned to remove dust and dirt in order to avoid engine problems. An air filter that has been in use for a long time cannot be cleaned completely. The filter must therefore be replaced with a new one at regular intervals. A damaged air filter must always be replaced. Includes one filter per order.
You would need a screwdriver to replace this filter.
• Remove screws from the filter cover
• Replace old filter with a new one
• Reassemble and test the unit

I had taken my chainsaw to a shop for a replacement fuel line. After I used the saw for a few times, I noticed the engine was running rough. I pulled the cover off thinking I should put in a new spark plug and was amazed to find the complete air box filter missing. I went back to the shop and of course they denied any wrongdoing. Thank you for the exact replacement parts to correct this problem. The shop didn’t have the parts you all did...I’ll be back!

1. Removed plastic cover with screwdriver
2. Removed air filter cover with screwdriver
3. Replaced air filter pad and filter cover
4. Pulled spark plug connector off of spark plug
5. Removed spark plug with Husqvarna spark plug wrench (included w/ chainsaw)
6. Placed new spark plug, gapped the plug at 0.025 and tightened w/ spark plug wrench
7. Replaced spark plug connector
8. Replaced plastic cover
2. Removed air filter cover with screwdriver
3. Replaced air filter pad and filter cover
4. Pulled spark plug connector off of spark plug
5. Removed spark plug with Husqvarna spark plug wrench (included w/ chainsaw)
