The machine's display would not light-up and the power-supply's LED blinked rapidly when the machine was turned-on.

I unplugged the old power-supply (adapter) and plugged-in the new one from eReplacement Parts. Fortunately, the old power-supply had failed and the new one returned the machine to full functionality.

I also opened the machine's display panel, using a Phillips-Screwdriver, and also replaced the button battery as well. This enables the machine to retain work-out history between exercise sessions.

The wiring in the power cord had become exposed from improper use.

Simply discarded the old adaptor and plugged in the new one.
