Hello Keith, Thank you for your inquiry. According to the parts list we received from the manufacturer, both of the rear wheels, part# 119-0321, have the gear. The front wheels, part# 117-5964, are just a regular wheel. We hope this helps you.

Removed worn out wheels that had stripped gear on inside of wheel by loosening bolt that holds it on, and replaced with new wheels. Mower's self propelled feature works good with new wheels.
